This.I am r4ymond said:It's another way of writing "NDS." It's used to change the extension of it. Just changed ".ND5" to ".NDS" and you'll have your Rom/Game back to it's original extension.
EDIT: Usually, in online gaming terms, people would use "5" as "S" sometimes.
2nd EDIT: I downloaded a Rom that had .ND5 extension once. Even the name of the Rom was changed from "Red" to "R3D." Not sure why but maybe it's used to hide the fact that it's .NDS.

The '.nd5' extension means that you're downloading roms from some Mexican website. Be discrete. It's a 'masking' technique. Old & unsuccessful.
