The National Aeronautics and Space Administration have announced the discovery of a 100 million year old non human footprint. Pictured above the now fossilised footprint appears to belong to an animal with four toes and measures 30cm in width, indicating that the beast it belonged to was very large in size and is now most probably extinct. The discoverer of the footprint Ray Stanford describes the non-human animal as a "four-footed tank. It was quite heavy, there’s a quite a ridge or push-up here."

And for those who have any doubts the footprints authenticity has now been confirmed by David Weishampel of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

INCREDIBLE! :O

You really should quote the whole article. This last part is especially important:
NASA is of course well-known in some circles* for having staged the Moon landings of the 1960s and 70s here on Earth for one of a variety of purposes, and in this context it should be noted that a keen amateur scientist, dinosaur expert Ray Stanford, has come forward to insist that in fact the footprint is nothing more than an ordinary terrestrial Cretaceous-era dino print.
Stanford, in fact, says that the footprint - most probably made by a hefty brute known as a nodosaur - is located in the grounds of a large NASA facility, the Goddard Space Flight Centre in Maryland: which would account for the space agency being able to successfully keep its location secret.

There is nothing to suggest that this is aliens.

@Everyone: Read the entire article from the source link. I only quoted the end and the OP only includes the beginning.

Edit: NASA themselves say it was found at Goddard in Maryland.

Kinda strange how they won't divulge where they found it, especially given the said age of it.
It was found in Maryland, on a NASA campus, which is the only piece of news really since we have already found cretaceous dinosaur footprints in NA. Nothing incredible really.

So... 2 questions. A) Why does anybody care about another dinosaur footprint and B) Why is NASA looking for dinosaur footprints? Would have been more exciting if it was on Mars (but then again, if they had found it on Mars, it could have just been a random shape, so still...)

I thought you meant on Mars or something.
Ah well, back to videogames.
EDIT:

Nope, no footprints on Mars. Just a smiley face.

I guess that will have to do.
Oh. Well.
I think that proves that there is a god.

I think that proves that there is no god.

Maybe it just proves that if there is a God, he has a wicked sense of humor.

Or maybe it's just a coincidence that happened over millions of years through a meteor strike, planetary winds, and possibly water erosion.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb

    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
