Wow, that sounds great!

Thanks for the info!

if the nand dump is a bootmii dump you should be able to get all the keys by looking at it with a hex editor. the last portion is all the system keys. And on the other wii you can just run the tool that dumps your keys into a txt file.

do you have bootmii V2 installed on your bricked wii?
If yes, you can make a nand backup and get the keys from the nand.bin.
If not, then you have a paperweight.

What if the other wii is bricked and you can't run homebrew on it?

Before Bushing released his Betwiin, he was charging $10 bucks to do this, so I send him an email and he send me back a set of tool to extract the bicked wii's keys, although to run this key graber and to flash the bricked Wii you definately need a flash programer like the infectus2...!!

REALLY hard, specially if you don't have the right tools, is your bricked Wii at least have BootMii installed...??

nope I have 2 wii's one is low level bricked lol.And the bricked wii doesn't have bootmii installed:(.

Then you really need an Infectus2 and someone to solder 16 wires for you (or the skills to do it your self

Team Twiizer member bushing has released Betwiin v1 a tool that will let you convert NAND dumps from one Wii to run on another.
Quote:
Directions for use:
Copy input dump file to input/flash.bin.
Copy input keys to input/.
Copy output keys to output/.
Run betwiin.py, wait several minutes.
Take output file from output/flash.bin and use as appropriate.
Code:

Betwiin, first public release, 8/2009

This here is betwiin, a NAND flash conversion tool for Wii NAND
images. It can re-encrypt and re-HMAC the per-console unique parts of
a NAND dump from one Wii such that it will run on a second one, with
the following caveats:

1) The version of boot1 you flash to a NAND chip must match the
original one that shipped with that Wii. No exceptions.

2) The version of boot2 must be equal to or greated than the one most
recently installed on that Wii.

3) No handling of bad blocks is performed; if your target NAND chip
has a bad block that hits an important file required for system
startup, I suggest you find a differente donor dump to start from.

This code is licensed to you under the terms of the GNU General Public

This code represented many, many hours of hard work to generate, and
could not have been done without the help of segher, marcan and gray.
Per the GPL, you are free to use, modify and (in some cases)
redistribute it, but I won't refuse any PayPal donations to the above
email address, either.

Yes I do lol how much did you pay for your infectus and can you use it as a modchip as well?

I order it from OZModChips.com, and yes you can also used it as a modchip, although you need to disolder it from the NAND and then solder it to the DVD's drive chip, it comes with a programer that you connects USB to your PC, so you can upgrade it really simple...!!
