Nope, they'll be treated as nicknames.

Nope, they won't. The game has a flag for nicknamed Pokémon. If you used the translation, the names (such as Tsutaaja and Pokabu) aren't considered nicknames, hence the reason they're blocked on WFC. And in addition to that, your current Pokémon will have flags indicating they were caught using the Japanese version, so that could cause issues with Wi-Fi also (since both the nickname and the "traded" flags are disabled).
The name issue won't give you as much trouble if you have been using the Kana names patch though.

Tried it Patched, Clean, with and without the latest YSMenu, still no luck --'
Had the exact same problem with Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's WC2011 but after applying the Dicastia patch, it worked under YSMenu !! But it doesn't seem to work with Pokemon White/Black !!
Any help appreciated guys ^^ oh and please no "BUY A SCDS2" stuff, it's not available in my country, only bad quality R4 Clones -____-

Works 100% on AceKard2i with AKAIO.1.8.5 with "Bypass AntiPiracy" enabled. Also working on CycloDS 2.1 (need exp patch though) and SuperCard DSTWO 1.09.

I registered just to say this:
A few pages back you posted a picture of both US pokemon white/black boxes earlier and said you were dumping them.

1) If you really have them and didn't just print out the cover art and put them on a box, show a picture of the carts.
2) I know dumping can take up to a few hours, but if you have both it's not like you can PLAY both at the same time. Dump one while you play the other.

I can confirm that the game works perfectly on the DStwo without any issues, even in Patch mode.

The patch seems to work quite well with the PAL version using AKAIO.

i've played all day pokemon white eur version with ap exp fix and played fine without any problems, game saves, loads, i also had a battle throw wifi random battle, and trade pokemon throw wifi without problems the game works great on desmume

To anyone who is forced to use 1.8.1 because you get stuck at the yellow loading screen:

I had the same issue, and was curious why some worked on 1.8.5, and some didn't. I put 1.8.1 on my card and pokemon instantly worked. But I was curious why 1.8.5 wouldn't. So I downloaded the latest loader and put 1.8.5 back on. It worked.

tl;dr
If you are using 1.8.1 because you were stuck @ the yellow loading screen, try using the latest loader and 1.8.5. It worked for me.

So I tried copying and pasting the cheats from the link that's been posted into cheats.db with no luck. Any advice for injecting cheats into a file for use with an M3i Zero? Sample cheats file available? Soul Silver and others work just fine with the latest release, and I can play the patched ROM.
