N64 savegame dumping

Is there any simple device I can use on N64 game cartridges to backup the savegame to computer?
I found a guide that required a few different devices, which seemed tedious to follow.

I'm thinking I would like to be able to transfer my old savegames for use in emulators/virtual console (you can inject savegames).

Or probably easier, any links to good Super Smash Bros (N64) unlocked savegames?

If not, I'll just force myself to play the games again... lol. They are pretty damn good after all.

the only device is can think of are copiers, which are rare and thus expensive
