Hi Guys.

Hoping someone might have the magic answer. I have tried just about everything. I have Retroach installed on my switch. I am running SX OS. Every single N64 game played is laggy and choppy and audio crackling. Anything I can do as I feel like I changed every setting and still nothing seems to fix this.

Thanks in advance.

Default configs, title override, Atmosphere + Overclocking... Many n64 games run absolutely fine. But yeah, some just don't (like goldeneye, conkers or KI).

Thats. I was trying to play Fifa 98 road to World Cup and its shocking. Ah well. guess I will just give up on good N64 on the switch for now

I have an N64 console. In fact I have all consoles and systems I my man cave, but what the use in buying a N64 if I cant play it on the move? that the whole point of having it on the switch. so I can play on a train etc.

That's true. For me, I dont used Switch on the move. I don't. I love outgoing, exercise and lots of things to do outside. I come home when I am rest and playing the video game. I am a big gamer. Just dont liked to do it on the move. Not my style.

Why dont you buy N64 at GameStop or Pawn stores ? They sell N64 very cheaper and it is 100 percent full speed.

Not sure what you're talking about, I was simply asking if N64 runs better in Android on Switch than other CFW.

Great, you do realize that there are other humans that are not you?

Weird flex but ok...
I mean... the point of emulating on the Switch is being able to play it on the go... Some of us mere mortals like to play in places that aren't home like on your work lunch, while traveling, or whatever!

In regards to the N64 what games have you tried?
a lot of them run pretty nicely!

i can run last impact on android which is something i cannot do in horizon. In horizon rumble is supported. HD packs are supported. In android I am using 720p which you could argue is good for n64 but If you see here:

how could you not what a 16:9 ratio sometimes. All in all why chose one over the other. Just use both. If you find that a game is not to your liking in horizon try in android it just might work!

Fifa 98 road to World Cup is shocking. starts fine up until the EA logo and after that crackly sounds , stuttering, slowing down
