Hacking N3DS LL 9.9J Where do I start?

I just got my N3DS LL in the mail today. Its on 9.9. I have a gateway card and Ocarina of Time 3D. Where do I start to get my gateway running US region games?

Thanks! So the first step is to downgrade? Sounds good. Whats the fastest and best way to get to emuNAND? Being able to play out of region games is big for me, and A9H kinda scares me so I would probably like to avoid that if I can. Unless its like super important.
