Okay, so I guess I'll have to wait for my 3ds firmware version to be supported on https://smealum.github.io/3ds/ before being able to download the boot.3dsx file.
I don't understand. Are you not running CFW already? If you are, why wouldn't you just get boot.3dsx from wherever you got it before? If you're not already running CFW, then you don't need anything on your SD card (and the initial CFW installation process requires many more steps than just putting those files on your SD card).

However, repartitioning the card means losing all my games and such stuff so I'll use this as a last resort if I notice that "chkdsk" didn't fix all corruption.
As I said before, while chkdsk may fix file system errors, it will likely leave you with partially-corrupted files that will just cause mysterious problems later down the line.

Well, yes, I'm running CFW, but the thing is that I downloaded my boot.3dsx from https://smealum.github.io/3ds/ which as far as I know, requires one to use the boot.3dsx file from the system version on which CFW was installed back then, and I don't remember which system version was I using back then. However, if @The Real Jdbye says that now it's https://github.com/fincs/new-hbmenu/releases/ the one that is supported by Luma, I'll use this one :)

Ok, so, today Anemone theme manager crashed along with an Arm11 Translation - Section error, and it wouldn't open. So I've made up my mind and I'll make the repartition to the SD card and see if this stops random errors like this to occur.

Just to get things straight, this is what I do right?:

1.
Make the repartition with Gparted
2. Format it with Windows explorer formatter for setting the cluster size
3. Put the Boot.firm and Boot.3dsx on the SD card's root
4. Boot up the 3ds, and use Rosalina menu on download play for accessing the Homebrew launcher and use FBI to reinstall a clean copy of all the CIAs

----

Oh and, I've never used Gparted, so I don't know how to make a repartition on my SD card with it (I've never partitioned anything really).. Do you have a guide for that, @Joom ?

I don't really understand what this talk about GParted is for. If the partition table was somehow corrupted, you wouldn't be able to see any files on the card whatsoever.

More importantly, you need to test the card! Format the card and then use h2testw on the empty card. Even if it passed the tests before, it might not pass them now. (Chkdsk is not necessarily adequate; that's why h2testw is a think to begin with.)

Ah. I see. Well, I didn't know that, tho yeah, probably GParted will be of no use here then. If no repartition is necessary I'll follow this @TurdPooCharger 's guide I found which has pretty much all I need: https://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-cfw-restoring-functionality-on-a-new-sd-card.507458/

However, before doing all this, I'd like to get an answer on this thread pls: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-can...-restore-them-after-an-sd-card-format.554525/

Thanks :)
