Is it just me, or does turning on 3D for an N3DS make the screen slightly brighter? (I'm using a non-XL, dunno about LL/XL)

If it really does brighten the screen, is there a CFW/app that takes advantage of the brighter screen setting?

Whoa, that's awesome! I'd love to try this out! (Is there a compiled version of this? I lack the knowledge to compile this)

It does, but only because the parallax barrier used for 3D lowers brightness a bit, so it's increased to compensate.
Brightness level 5 isn't enough for you?

The N3DS can get pretty bright, I was really just wondering if anybody's already taken advantage of the possible feature, and apparently they have!
