Hacking n-card clone question

hi all,
first time poster, just a quick query regarding a fire card i have bought for my ds.

the "fire card" i have bought, i believe is a n-card clone, works perfectly well, but one card i came accross was faulty so i decided to open it up and take a peek.
inside i found a small battery attached to the board.

was wondering if anyone out there knows whether these cards start to go wrong when this battery runs dry, or whether it is infact a rechargeable battery (something which i doubt very much)??

Yes it should be a Ncard clone ;>

Im not 100% sure =| Ive heard it should be rechargeable, but there had been already people got problems because the batery was damaged (Saves will not be saved...).

My card is working fine since nearly a year~ IMO it just depends on luck to get a good working card =/
