Hacking MyMenu problem.

Hello guys. Could anybody help me please?

I'm trying to convert a .mym to .csm but every time I try, it gets to a certain point and then I get the message "Ash.exe has stopped working"

It used to work on my old PC, what I am doing wrong/missing?

No, Vista. The PC i'm trying to do it on is a Netbook with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Just tried it on the old one, and its now giving me the same error message.

How would I know if it was the ini file, and what is the ini file?

the ini file is a text file in the mym file that tells mymenu what to replace in the csm

if you link me the mym you are trying to use ill take a look and seee if there is any problems

Thanks Diddy. Basically, I have made a .csm that works fine, but im trying to apply the spinning box effect.

right there's nothing wrong with that mym + it was made by the team I'm on (The Wii Theme Team)

but im guessing that the csm you are trying to apply it too was not

the problem is the chansel.ash in that theme is yaz0 compressed so this outline mym cant unpack the ash file it needs to add the outline spin effect

you can open the mym yourself (its just a zip file with a diff extension) then find the file for chansel.ash decompress it with yaz0 and replace it then apply the mym

or send the first mym to me and ill do it

The theme I have is a csm file, not sure I have the mym anymore. Ill convert it back.

You wouldn't believe how long i've been trying to find somebody to help me with this.

And I can confirm it works. And looks very nice indeed, thank you again.

I've got a couple more question for you if that's ok.

How easy would it be to change the colours on that theme? e.g. change everything thats blue red, or green.

And how would I change the health screen picture. (I know I can do it with priiloader or crazy menu, but id like to incorporate it into the theme.

Maybe then I can start making some of my own themes, when I know a bit more.

on that theme its hardish as all the ash files are yaz0 you would need the decompress them all then unpack them all with U8tool

convert all the tpls in to pngs then edit the pngs then build it all back up

I don't know if it's completely the same
I have the Darkwii one atm and it doesn't create that effect when you point at a channel (the spinning thing). I could just have an old version though

Nice combination of System menu and config loader themes btw
