Hacking My solderless d2ckey wiiclip experience

If you want to buy a Wiiclip, I suggest you buy them from Ozmodchips, since they test it out before sending it to make sure it works

I've noticed that if you play with the clip a few times, the legs of the chip get put under some pressure and contact may be lost when you put the clip back on -- use a small precision screwdriver and GENTLY nudge the pins in towards the center on the clip, and you should be fine.

Just got one, didnt work. Everything checks out that it should, but its gotta be having an issue connecting to the legs of the D2C chip. Junk. Im gonna try and return it. Doubt Ill be able to though...

Techsick finally replyed to my email. They said theyll replace both by solderless d2ckeys along with giving me a dicount voucher!Hurrah

So luckily my next 2 modchips wont be faulty

Dude once my Triwing screwdriver arrive I fit in my D2CKey and tell how it goes, I just hope I dont one of does unmoddable wiis.

Hopefully your wii wasnt made after the middle of april or something like that.

Sorry, I'll stop bumping it. Just wanted people to know that there are faulty wii clips and that they sould know what they're buyin. People are having problems with it, similar to mines.

That no reason to keep bumping over and over.
I think that people should know that plenty of the clips work absolutely perfectly - like mine.
Just because youve had a bad experience doesnt mean that you should continually badmouth a product when seemingly the majority are happy with it.

I didnt have a completely bad experience. Techsick is going to replace my d2ckey solderlesses, so Ill see if the other ones will work.
But like I said before, Ill stop bumping.

k the replacements just came today. Just like last time, one works, the other doesnt. So hopefully, this one wont bust
