Hacking My Softmodded Wii doesnt read any disc please help!

Downgrading you risk the chance of bricking your wii, that would get you back to a clean system, although i recommend you download softmii 3.0 instead if you do plan on reinstalling your system menu, the old softmii only has the option to install up to 3.2 i believe, the newer one has 4.0, you'll have to use wain's updater to get to 4.1. I would try what i suggested first, i believe its one of the hacks in preloader, i had the problem myself, sounds like your successfully modded, you just need to get that issue squared away.

I put the hacks.ini you told me about, and from the preloader menu, I see

What am I suppose to disable?

Go into 5. ) Systsem menu hacks, and disable everything, you can re-enable things later when you better understand them, the only one you shouldn't disable is "Skip disc update check" leave that enabled, or enable it if its not already done.

ok I went into 5 and everything was already dsiabled, but I did like you told me and enabled skip disc update check

If i were you i would just reinstall your system menu and leave everything alone until you understand it a bit better, You can reinstall with the softmii package. From there you'll have disc loading back for legit games, if you want to play burned games you'll need cioscorp and to reinstall softmii, etc. Im going to bed, good luck. Just so you know the image for the new softmii downgrader says upgrader, thats the one your looking for in HBC.
