So my 3DS was in a plastic bag with my water bottle and my water bottle got leaked, so the 3DS was basically in the water. After a short time, I noticed and quickly took out the 3DS and dried it with a "clothe piece". I took out it's battery and dried it too, so the 3DS turned on the next day. But it took few more seconds than normal time to turn on and show the home menu screen and also the LCD wasn't showing proper coolours it used to do. How do I fix this? I'm not a rich guy or anything, so I don't want my money to be wasted. It didn't turn on if my SD card wasn't attached, probably because I installed cfw
Please help me:(:(:(

Post a picture of it. It could either be that water got into the screen, it shorted/corroded the ribbon cable connectors or shorted/corroded the chip that controls the LCD. The latter thing is much harder to fix.

Uhh, I currently don't have my 3DS, I gave it to a mechanic for few days. If it came back with no fixings, then I'll send you. Still thanks for giving me time

So my 3DS is back because the mechanic couldn't repair it. So would replacing the screens fix the problem or there is some other problem?
now that you have it back could you post some screenshots? I'm quite curious how severe it is

Uhh, I took a screenshot in home menu and when I viewed it after connecting SD card to PC, it looked normal, so how can I really show? Well, the screens are more blurry with less resolution, a bit greyish and darker than when it was fine and the console takes more time than usual to turn on and show the home menu screens

Also post pictures of mobo, flex, screen. Simply pictures of everything.
Where is the mobo located? and what is flex?

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, I may probably download fallout 3 or new vegas on my ps3
