My new 3ds xl wont load old games

When i try to load a cia installed game thats around 3 months old or more my 3ds has a huge problem loading it. Especially my gba injected roms. It just tells me an error has occurred and to power off the console. The older they are the harder thay are to load for example:3 months has about a 50% chance to load 4 months has about a 30% chance to load and 5 months just wont load anymore. What happened. How do i fix it. If you need more info tell me i will provide but thats the jist of it

The thing is tho is that ive had this sd card for long over a year and its only doing this stuff recently

reformatting your sd card will resolve this issue for a little while, but to permanently fix it get a new card.

Is it full or close to it's max capacity? Anyway, you should back everything up and format it, then test it with h2testw software, If you haven't already done so. It should show if the sdcard is at fault or not.
