Hacking my friends R4iSDHC... Question!

ok. so I tried to give him YSMenu since he can't get newest firmware running, but that didn't work -_-
So I tried to implement retros latest dats in his firmware, which went fine, until I was left looking for extinfo.dat

I have a picture in case anyones willing to help

extinfo.dat = map.bin for those kernel.
No way to manage it to work as this file is kind of encrypted, same for R4i.dat @ root (/) of the card.
You should be able to run YSMenu or TTDS besides this kernel BTW. You might have done something wrong.
