Hacking My DSI is a POS.

So yeah, i got a brand new white dsi about a week or two ago.
haven't dropped it or done any damage to it.
the L button just all of a sudden doesn't work......
I wanna punch it!!!!!
i still do have the warranty though.
but i don't want to send it in.
any ideas on how to fix it without:
sending it to nintendo
taking it apart.

Did you buy it locally? Just have the store do a exchange.

UPDATE!!!!:

Got rid of my DSi and got a DS Lite instead!!

If it's still under store warranty and you have the receipt, take it there.

I had the exact same problem with my DSL. A week after use [bought from EB Games], the L button stopped. Took it back with the receipt, they gave me a new one.

Then that one crapped out too [same way], so I sent it to Nintendo, it took like a week to get it back.

i just decided to go back to ds lite for guitar hero on tour series.

plus the l and r buttons are better IMO
