I still have my acekard 2i. It's my favorite one. I have a couple of clone r4's a m3ds real with gba expansion, that I mainly used for the Sakura os, a original R4 and a couple of others.

I still use my acekard, even thoughi have the twilight menu on my dsi and dsi LL.

I had the gbatemp one, gave it to my brother a while ago though because dstwo just isn't really necessary anymore. The standby power drain was really awful as well, better off with R4i Gold nowadays. So many better options for GBA and SNES. I still have the box though!

I've always wanted a DS-Xtreme... my heart will always remain with the CycloDS though. Such a good card... amazing build quality, amazing software.

I wanted one of those but they came out at a bad time for me. Glad to see they are still out there in the hands of collectors. Gives me hope that I might be able to buy one off a collector one day

And here I am with a regular DSTwo like a fucking chump.
tbh I like black cart better than white cart. white plastic got dirty real fast and after some time it looked disgusting tbh.

the plastic top layer of the label had started peeling off at the bottom too so there was a good quantity of sticky gunk down there that only made things worse

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
