Hacking My AceKard has DIED

Yes, my AceKard has died. I have tried putting it in other DSes and booting it with different SD cards, but it has really died right now. I was in the middle of a DSOrganize IRC session, and i got "Guru Mediation Error" and the DS packed up, so I turned it on and noticed the AceKard launch button thingy (not sure what you call it) didnt appear and instead said "Start GBA Game", referring to my Slot 2 GBA Card. I thought it was a glitch, so I turned on my DS Lite again and took out the GBA Game - my DS didnt detect the AceKard. I nicked my bro's one and the same problem arose, so i'm starting to think theres something wrong with me AK. Can someone help? I might not visit this topic again, so please be patient. I will be back in a day, and use my backup R4 with WoodR4 in the meantime.

How long have you been using the acekard now?
Might just have to settle for buying a new one.

1. Are the gold gobledeegooks making contact with the whizzerwhoppers on the inside of the DS?
2. Have you tried formatting your Micro SD? (I once had that problem)
3. Have you checked different Micro SD cards in the AceKard?

Clean the contacts on the Acekard. Also try the old paper trick (involves sticking a small piece of paper between the flashcart and cartridge slot.)

If its an AK2i you could re flash it with the 1.4 fix in hope that it would fix the corrupt bootloader but since the fix pertains to the DSi it may not ix the DS bootloader. I'm not exactly sure.

See if your DS contacts are clean. Flashcarts can be real picky about those.

your thread icon is a dingoo logo....

this sounds like a corrupt or dead msd card. dsorganize has very bad file read/write code and it WILL corrupt the msd card. format the msd card using the panasonic formatter. make sure you try that msd card in another flash kit or another msd card in your ak2i.

you should use clirc next time.
