My 3DS Pokemon ROM hack station

Hello everyone, hope this type of post is allowed. I'm new here and I figured I might as well show off some equipment. This is my NES 3DS XL, which as been used as my ROM hack emulation-station for a few months now. Got this bad boy for $150 off a Goodwill auction. All it needed was a battery and a new thumbstick (still being shipped) and it's as good as new. Unfortunately it will be leaving me soon as I'm trading it for a handful of handhelds

So, might as well have a discussion. What do you all feel is the nicest way to play GBA games on the 3DS XL? Personally I find the New Super Ultimate Injector CIAs to work better than agb_firm (and mGBA, which in my experience works terribly with ROM hacks!)

Yeah mGBA is definitely the most versatile. It would be the nicest to use, being an applet on the home screen. I just wish it worked better on my 3DS.

open_AGB_firm gets my vote for anything that can be played natively, I just like the simplicity of it and how well it plays stuff. I know some people detest the bilinear scaling option but for me it works really nicely and I like how it looks.

Absolutely, probably pretty much tied for first IMO

For things like Pokemon I prefer mGBA, because it has fast-forward. For anything else agb_firm.
