They also could buy a new one as well. The price for a new one has come down quite a lot over the past few years.

I hope you can find peace of mind and you learn to control your emotions better.
The 3DS is just a mere console, and if you end up ragequitting, deleting everything and turning it into fire... it doesn't really matter.
But if it happens with something else than the 3DS it could be sad.
PS: If the 3DS is stressing you this much just throw it away, it is not that important. You need patience and perseverance to hack things, it's not something everybody enjoys. But I would suggest in general for any problem you have, try not to overreact, be calm.

I am not sure, but I think he may need to write 10 posts to be able to use private messages.

I think the 10 post limit is required for posting links only. Writing PMs works fine, it's just not so obvious on XenForo how to send a PM.
I have the same issue.
I tried to repair my 3ds (NFC was broken) and after that my 3ds stopped working. Just black screen with micro sd card in. Without comes an error.(

Put the boot.firm file on this .7z file on the root of your SD card.
I'm pretty sure you can fix it by sending it to someone that has ntrboot. but just out of curiosity: how much would you be selling it for ? (just for my personal interest)
idk maybe for 50-70€? Can you tell me pls what ntrboot can do in this situation?
And the test for the sd card it said it has no erros.
if you had an ntrboot card you could restore a backup of your nand(assuming you have a backup of your nand) but then again, you don't have an ntrboot card so idk how I can help you
