I'm on 4.0 with wanin update, my Retail Muramasa prompt me to update via software, it's safe update? I have HBC, using 249, not preloader nor firmware hacks.

    Thanks

It's probably safe, but just to be sure, use Preloader or StartPatch to skip the update.

Why don't just put to the backup launcher? nothing really different with the speed.
it felt like running in normal disc channel.

I had this same issue. I bought Muramasa.

...and then, I realized I forgot to install Preloader. D'oh

I just did that, enabled the skipping of disc updates and it works just fine. The update's nothing crucial; I think it's just a 4.1 update included on the disc for those that don't have a Wii connected to the Internet (lol?)
