Homebrew Multiple Discs games not working on 3ds PcsX ReARMed

Ive been trying to play Resident Evil 2 with PcsX ReARMed but every time I go to Quick Menu → Disc Control → Eject Disc → Current Disc Index (1 → 2) → Insert Disc the game drops to 0 FPS, stops working and goes to a black screen. I am using chd for the games and this happens in both of the New 3ds I have at home

I looked at simila threads but they didn't help me much if at all

Anyone ran into a similar problem ?

Did you ever solve this issue OP? I think RE2 isn't a normal "disk swapping" game, so ejecting and changing the disc won't work. You should try renaming the Leon disc save file so it matches the name of your Claire disc. That way, when you open the Claire disc you should be able to access the other disc's save file. Otherwise enabling the shared second memory card in the quick menu and saving data on the second memory card should make your saves accessible on both discs.
