Hacking Multiple cheats (5+) causes games to crash

So I find that whenever I try to use more than 5 cheats at a time on a particular game, it'll always freeze up after a while of gameplay. I've always made sure that the cheats don't overlap or interfere with each other in any way. Anyone got any idea of why this happens?

A little off topic, but the same thing seems to happen when I do this with emulated games as well.

each cheat patches to ram before the game loads. that perticular game, which you did not mention, is probably erroring out when it is trying to use ram the cheats are using.

the solution -- stop cheating!
