I wrote a small simple script to trim roms. It's written in python so it should run on every system of this world 
Its usage is simple: dstrim.py romfile romfile romfile
For each romfile, it creates a new, smaller file, named TRIMMED-romfile
It can be used with multiple roms, for example:
dstrim.py *.nds
