Homebrew Mulitplayer in VBA. SNES9x, and FCE Ultra

Me and a friend of mine are going to play a game on my wii. But we can't figure out how to get 2 controls to play in a game. Is there a way to get multiplayer in VBA GX, SNES9x GX and FCE Ultra GX? Please respond back.

make sure both remotes are on and synced before you open your emulators. thats the only way i can get it to wok for me.
