eShop ROMs had already been out a while, I too believe there's a strong possibility it was ready beforehand and the "it took just one day" is as much a publicity stunt as the "trustworthy and dedicated beta testers" thing.

I don't know, but perhaps the "disable those sig checks" was a good hint? Let's not forget that they have been working on the 3DS for a long time. Also, the fact that the new card already supported them says something as well.

People behind MT card are www.r4ids.cn. Same incompetent idiots: R4i Team, thieves and morons, responsible for R4i deluxe, Orange3ds, 3dslink. Already confirmed couple times by respected forum members:

It's more like an educated guess by looking at their past reputation and actions. A history of taking a long time to release updates, and also lying to the community. Anyways, not very important, at least we have eshop support.

Every 3DS flashcard is a shameless copy of Gateway software and hardware work, so all clone lovers be grateful to Gateway because without them you couldn't buy shitty MT-Cards. Gateway actually IS working on their updates so it takes time and they deliver with every update. Show me also when they lied about anything?

Just look at the estimated release dates of GW2.0 final (which still isn't released).

Which Gateway doesn't do by making a device which only can enable Piracy (and needs pirated code in order to work). We had all these discussions already.

No one is forcing you to buy flashcards for piracy, just don't buy them, then Piracy isn't enabled, end of story.

I just don't know why you have something against pirates of pirates if you have nothing against pirates. Gateway steals Nintendo's work and MT steals Gateway's work.

Unless, of course, they completely fail to neuter to brick code in 2.1 like other teams did in the past, which according to Bond697 is still present.
I honestly think the gateway team had that set up beforehand and then said it only took one day to build trust and awe for the team.
Or maybe it only took one day because the real challenge is ensuring that clones are ****'ed in the maximally accurate way possible.

Gateway isn't stealing anything from Nintendo, if they would, all the links to Gateway files would be blocked and Gateway themselves would be sued. It's users, who are buying flashcards, stealing from Nintendo.

Why do you think that you aren't allowed to link directly to Launcher.dat files on this website?

Please leave this thread .

Seriously? Gateway is past 2.0 final. Its on 2.1 now.
We heard your feedback on the Gateway firmware 2.0 “OMEGA” private beta and made a couple of improvements.

These improvements have been bundled into Gateway firmware 2.1 “OMEGA” and we decided to release this as public release.
That means after my understanding that Omega is still a beta but now a public one. But it's possible that I understood it wrong.

MT-card Playing Pokemon X/Y
-snip-
No big news:

Nah omega 2.1 isnt beta its final. The beta was to see how well the FW was received and see if with a mass of testers if something went wrong. After that they released the public version(same as beta just official release) then they dropped 2.1 for eshop releases and something else.

people keep calling it a beta and dont realize that no where in any way does it say its a beta. As a matter of fact when they release 2.0 omega (official) they said finally the wait is over. Maybe they said it when they announced the closed(public not internal) beta..... ill have to check it out again. Its cool that you got confused though. Too many people are th8nking its a beta when its not and calling it such its natural that others would therefore assume the same thing.

There was no public 2.0. Only a leaked Private Beta.
