Hacking MP PLAYER

Not a noob but just in a hurry (sorry). I can't get the player to work from USB- format Fat 32. Will work from SD but my movies are on usb.
Any help appreciated. Want to take it on hols.

I installed 202 using the usb installer but it still won't view the drive.
Anyone any ideas

You're certain it's on? You should also try a different USB port on the back just to be sure it's not the USB plug itself.

Yeah its on it works for the game backups on usb config loader.

Right- I have done the following
1. Unplug any GameCube memory card or controller you may have plugged in.
2. Open homebrew Channel and select the cIOS installer.
3. Select IOS249 for install, press the "A" button.
4. Select custom IOS 202 v65535 to install, press the "A" button.
5. Select IOS base, IOS 60, press the "A" button, wait for download.
6. Press the "1" button to install
7. When completed, the Homebrew Channel will reboot, this is normal operation.

HBC reboots MPlayer 0.4 or 0.5 doesn't work- starting to do my head in this!!!
