Hello guys (this may sound really stupid) I was wondering if you could help me out, so I got the PSN version of this game and I can't ported over to my ps3 for the life for me now I've been trying for a day now and ever since I've upgraded my firmware Roger row 4.21 I haven't been able to install anything homebrew on my system (everytime i try to install anything i get error 80029564) and all I want to move the game to my console .

ive tried FTP (but forgot to set it up and my Blackbox app on my ps3 isnt starting, i know multiman has a way but idk how to use it)

ive also tried splitting up the files, but idk how to join them on my ps3
I'd really appreciate help I can get from you guys please and thank you (ps im not a total noob i just havent been keeping up with the ps3 scene that much since....about 6 months, but i had a 3.55CFW and updated to "Rogero_CEX4.30_V2.05") thanks again Cheers!

To split them, I use 7-zip's file manager, find the pkg on your hard drive with it, and right-click, split file, 4095M split size.
There are apps that split with different file extensions (OpenSplit, SPLIT4G, etc) but this is the quickest and most painless method I've found to get the files split, in a working order. HJsplit works, but its slower IIRC. once you have the files split, move the split files to a folder on your external FAT32 hard drive, connect the hard drive to your ps3, and in mmOS copy the folder (not the files) to your internal hard drive. this should join the files, if it doesn't join them, it at least makes it installable. I just throw mine in a folder called packages and then copy that to the internal hard drive, which seems to work.
So then you should be able to install them with the XMB pkg installer, but if not, you should be able to use MultiMan to install them, with its install packages option.
I don't use Rogero, and I don't recognize the error you get when trying to install something. so that might still be an issue.

You can use the FTP to move the PKG to the internal HDD.
If you want to use multiMAN, it should be enabled by default.
connect your computer ethernet to PS3 ethernet (it will be faster than going through your router's ethernet).
Launch multiMAN
Launch your FTP client and connect to your console's IP, port21, in anonymous.

There's maybe another way involving extracting all the pkg content, and creating new multiple pkg yourself.
instead of splitting the pkg file to put it on your console, you split the content in multiple single pkg.
The PKG is only a container which copy the files to the correct folder.

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

@BigOnYa, Then i think people were talking about fallout 76
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    that one was buggy too
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, I may probably download fallout 3 or new vegas on my ps3
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
