Hardware Movie/video player

Is there a movie/video player that allows the user to play videos/movies straight from the SD Card? I tried GeeXboX but I'm not sure if it works on 4.0E

A couple of weeks ago I used this guide to install 4.0E, previously I was running on a 3.2E. I do have Homebrew Channel and Gamma back-up launcher, I do know how to install wads and other stuff so you don't need to explain like you're talking with a child.

If the text doesn't make any sense, tell me and I'll rewrite it.

Use Photo Channel. It allows you to play videos that are in .mov format. If it's a different format (such as .wmv, .rmvb), use Super to convert your videos in a different format to .mov format. Use your SD Card to use Photo Channel so that you can play videos. Photo Channel can be used for photo viewing.

MPlayer CE or GeexBox are the only 2 video players worth mentioning.

I completely forgot that you could use Photo Channel to watch videos. I tried to convert the videos that I want to watch but no success.

Do you need the Linux OS installed on your Wii for GeexBox and do both of those work on 4.0E? Because I couldn't get GeexBox to work yesterday.

Use MPlayer CE. It will work with 4.0E. You won't need Linux OS "installed" on your Wii.

Both are Homebrew Apps.

MPlayer CE has USB 2.0 support.
