Spider-Man 1 and 2 were pretty good, I've heard mixed things about Spider-Man 3 the game (none of which I believe). The Batman Begins video game was like Splinter Cell lite, so that was pretty fun. And all of the SpongeBob console platformers were quite enjoyable, and the same goes for the SpongeBob movie game.

Oh, and moved to General Consoles Discussion.

A lot of people liked Goldeneye on the N64 and considered one of, if not, the best movie game.

*Slaps forehead* I can't believe I forgot GoldenEye! As good as it is, and even though I know this, I've never really thought of it as a movie game. The game was so good that it just transcended the film, and became its own entity.

I second Goldeneye and Spiderman 1/2.

I enjoyed the first 2 Harry Potter games on PC.
And then the 2nd one on the GBA.

I hear The Chronicles of Riddick is good.
Scarface and The Warriors are supposed to be decent.
Some of the Lord of Rings games were good too.

And of course Lego Star Wars, as well as other Star Wars games such as KotoR 1 and 2.

Funny. I didn't care to "play" Goldeneye as it was intended. Rather I'd toy around with cheats, ridiculous use of weapons, etc. No human opponents either (since there were none anyway). This was before GTA3 helped popularize the idea.

Not sure if Kingdom Hearts fits, since it's based on countless sources.

I'll second that, the early Harry Potter games on PS1, PC, PS2, GBA, GBC, all of them really, they were excellent. The newer ones... notsomuch. But the older ones were so good that every year I get the urge to play them around Christmas time.

Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone (for GBC)

Best. Movie-based RPG. Ever.

Also the Harry Potter games for consoles are generally good

And yeah, Enter the Matrix was fun.

Escape from Butcher Bay is a really good game

Seconded. One thing though, do yourself a favor and skip the Xbox version, it doesn't compare to the one for PC.

QUOTEAnd yeah, Enter the Matrix was fun.
I can't say I agree. Enter The Matrix has bad controls that encourage random button mashing (in case you're playing it on a console. If you're a PC player, you wouldn't even fire it up in the first place), bad level design and a narrative that's far from compelling.

Hmm most Star Wars games are worth playing, but as some have said, they are more based on the "Extended Universe" than the movies themselves
