I heard SXOS supported this but since it only supports firmwares that are older than 10.x.x, I can't play my new games on it.

Is there any way to mount them in Atmosphère? I know it's possible to install them but it's bannable or use emuMMC but I don't use one due to how slow it is compared to eMMC.

I don't think I should be banned as all cartridges are mine and bought new, but MIG still carries a risk from what I hear and it would be a inconvenience to switch between 350+ games using the small button.

Even with a single pirated game you will get banned, regardless of how many games you did buy.
Also with an XCI you will get a ban unless it is a dump from your own cart, dumped in the correct way.

Some installers can directly install XCIs.
I vaguely recall that is what SXOS was offering.

In a theory mounting XCIs in AMS is almost possible (and desirable by some), but in practice it's totally a pirate thing, so no one couldn't care less about it, at least for now when Big N chases everybody.

Come back again in 5-10 years.

MIG is the only method that fully emulates how a real cartridge works, every other way comes with high ban risks. With MIG the ban risks are relatively low if you use your own dumps, at least for now. Many people who have used it for months on the Switch 2 without a ban after the initial bans of people who tried to use it before it was updated to support the Switch 2 and people have been using it even longer on the OG Switch. But this could change with a future update as Nintendo improve their detection methods so no guarantees for the long term.
Either SX OS or Atmosphere with xcis/nsps is a guaranteed ban in any case if you go online in cfw.
If you're worried about a ban best to use emunand with dns blocking and keep your sysnand clean.

I don't pirate. All XCIs are 1:1 dumps of my own carts.

I mean, Atmosphère itself is a pirate thing no matter what the dev's wishful thinking is. 99.99% of people are only modding their Switch to pirate.

I heard Nintendo is tracking voltages and stuff so I thought it was going to be XBOX 360 days again. Also the inconvenience is massive for my library.

I don't see why an XCI mounted as a real cartridge with certs and all would be a ban, though; it should act like a real one. Also emuMMC sucks but lets not get into that.

SciresM doesn't support piracy, atmosphere doesn't come with sig patches. As for XCI mounting it is only available on older firmware SX OS.

It's like saying guns are the issue, not the people using it.

Atmosphere doesn't allow playing pirated games without external modifications.

why would mounted xci not have the same problems as a flashcart?
