Hacking Mother3 does not save on GBA emulator!

Use the "save state" function that is in the GBA Emu main menu. you can have up to 10 saves there. I have had to do this on a few games myself.

You don't have the version with a save patch, do you? It saved fine for me when I played it on my DSTWO. The save patch fixes saving with a slot-2 device like a 3-in-1, but it ruins it with the DSTWO's emulator and some modes of VBA. Try getting a clean ROM and applying the translation patch straight from the site. If it still won't work, do as the above poster said and use save states.

Any fix?

I am currently using DSTWO Gba Emulator 1.3 with game_config.txt
Mother1+2 saving works but Mother3 won't.
game_config.txt does not work with 1.3, only 1.21 and under

First, you need to download v1.21 of NDSGBA and extract the files to the root of your microsd card (an older version, so don't update it). Then, download game_config.txt and put that txt file in your microsd's NDSGBA folder.

also. this might be your problem but i doubt it

Q: Why do I keep losing my saves that I make in the emulator?
A: This is because the saves are not registered until you go to the emulator's menu and exit out of it. So in order to get the saves to work you must exit the emulator before shutting off your DS. However, save states are saved once you see that it finished, so you don't have to exit the emulators for save states to work properly.

Which suitable site?
we can't tell you a site to get ROMs, that's against the rules, just use your friend google

This. I couldn't say it better myself. Your rom is fine, Bro, make sure you exit the emulator after saving through the exit option on the menu and it SHOULD save.

It works fine on 1.21 and no sram patch (translation patch only). Get rid of 1.30, it breaks a bunch of stuff.
