Even though you have to pay a hundred bucks a year to run software that hasn't yet been approved by Microsoft? Oh, and desktop mode will be gone in Windows 9 and it will be Metro (and their app store, just like iOS) only unless you jailbreak your desktop.

Ok. First of all. That hundred bucks applies to drivers, and its the developers who pay for it, not the users. Which makes sense seeing how drivers have access to system processes and seriously harm your computer (or be used to crack things like Genuine advantage wide open) and seeing how even that can be bypassed by disabling a certain option (I think its some kind of dev mode or something, I dont remember.) via CMD.

I think this also applies to Win Store apps and Licensed programs also, but that doesn't exactly apply to the majority.

Second of all, do you have ANY basis for Windows 9 getting rid of the desktop? Do you even know if it will be CALLED Windows 9? Its called sources bro. When you make outrageous claims and don't provide them, you tend to look like an idiot.
