Yeah sadly still no luck with the game save either. I even went ahead with your other suggested steps and uninstalled everything, did a restarted the system, did a full install of a different version which came out to 31.4gb (base+update+26dlc), loaded up the game save, start up the game and runs right into the updating game data and stuck there.

Yeah, no idea. I dont know how I got mine to get past it. But it works perfectly.
@ForgotWhoIam - Not sure if that does anything to it. I have always had mine as FAT32. I read about exFAT causing Issues, and the Card even becoming Corrupted. So I stuck with FAT32.

could be wrong, but didn't one of the updates require a linked account. I think there's a way to hex it out, but keflir? I know nothing about the switch, but I do have a good memory.

I read your post a few times now and still don't understand what you're saying. You're telling me you don't think switching to Fat32 will help which was my advice and yet you use fat32 and have no problems? Please explain further because that makes absolutely no sense to me.

Yeah last I ever knew was anything from 1.0.3 and higher required either linked account or internet access. I looked into that keflir a bit but didn't feel like it was to safe. Also that requires internet access to use. I used Linkalho instead which does its job offline so it feels like the game itself is just still requiring internet access.

I think bloodstained pulled that shit too. I have a rip of the first bloodstained update with the linked account being hexed out. it's probably easier just to use the app you did instead of doing that for many games. they do something like that on the ps4 where you can't export saves or I think use remote play without an activated account or maybe it's just signing in actually (not sure).

Meaning, I have had my Card as FAT32, and I still had the Problem with MK11. Not sure what fixed it though. Thinking should count myself lucky.

not sure. I'm legit, have the game all dlc, but haven't really played it. I"m an nso member, so I'm always online anyway. btw, I read on here that rambo is the next dlc character. lol I love sly stone though with rocky being one of my favorite series. I need to see when that's going to be released.

I'm just relieved last night I was able to switch Mortal Kombat 11 from Switch to PC thanks to it finally being cracked. Getting a gaming PC has devalued my Switch to me a lot because I don't usually play it portable.

I was gonna install MK 11 til i saw another update again i say WTF it like i just download yesterday and another new update today from 28 gb to 31 gb that whop my ass for another hour downloading it. Life is like Bitch sometime.

Here the internet sucks ass. Mortal Kombat xci with update and DLCs take about a good 9 hours to download.

Sorry to resurrect an old post. but I have had the "updating game data" issue since the first time I got MK11.

1. On atmos 1.1.1 Horizon 13.0
2. I now have 1.0.26 which is the lastest and last version.
3. No internet, always in airplane and never been online.
- Are you using 90DNS with Internet? NO
- Incognito Activated? NO
4. I have 3x base installs for MK11. 1. XCI early base rip, a newer NSZ and a eshop NSP base. Tried all with different combinations. I also have update [1.0.2][v131072] & 1.0.26 v1703936. 1.0.2 is the update that is supposed to work without needing a linked account, with this update I got forced into going online for update and if I refuse it just never loads. With 1.0.26 I got "updating game data" endlessly.

What have a tried.

1. Linking accounts online with both tinfoil and linkalho. Both are the same.
2. Tried different combinations including using other updates. 1.0.23 and 1.0.25 -same results with linked accounts.
3. Deleting tickets from tinfoil, deleting all save data. Deleting the game entirely and starting from scratch over 20x times.
4. Im at a loss, yesturday I spent a whole day re-downloading everything including getting the e-shop NSP for the base for MK11 and the latest update 1.0.26 NSP.
