Hacking Moonshell.

Does anyone know which Moonshell Version is the most stable?? I saw like 3 different ones when I searched Moonshell on this forum. And are there any other homebrews and applications/ emulators i can get?

What exactly is moonshell? What's it for? I downloaded it and put it on my flashcard but I have no clue what it is XD. Also why is there a Windows Logo on it?
