I had some mp3s that were too big to fit on my R4DS so I converted them into 32kbps HE-AAC m4a files with dbpoweramp music converter. When I tried playing them on Moonshell 2.10, they didn't play at all. I even tried both HE-AAC v1 and HE-AAC v2. I tried playing these m4a files with DSorganize and they still didn't play. How come these m4a files don't play. They are unprotected and m4a files are listed under the supported audio file formats. These files play fine in VLC media player. Maybe it's the converter I'm using that's causing the problem. Does anybody know how I can get HE-AAC m4a files to play on Moonshell 2.10. Any help would be appreciated.

I think only AAC LC is supported...?

Too bad then. I just hope that HE-AAC files will be supported in the next version of Moonshell. But I guess it probably won't be.

Moonlight's not really developing Moonshell2 anymore (I have heard that he made a custom version for someone because their topscreen was busted and wanted to have the videos on the lower screen) and nobody actually has the source code for the latest version...so pretty much what is supported is supported and what isn't will just have to stay unsupported.
