i'm loving this game so much my desktop background is now a suezo.

IMO they should have included a "magic word" system like previous games, because the drawing and speaking is kind of imprecise, so it's hard to share monsters you discover with people unless you can send them a picture of exactly what you drew (and they'd need to be very patient people, using the grid and whatnot)

I think my favorite new(?) feature (haven't played 3 or 4, so if it was included there it's still new to me) is the little boardgame system they use for running drills... makes their outcome much more random; you can either fail and only get a few points for your money or you can keep hitting extra roll squares and have an epic training session.

This game was worth the freaking wait.

Despite this being one of the greatest games i've played in a while, out of anger i probably won't even TOUCH my DS for about a month. Motherfuck.

it doesn't? i still have to load it up to my ak2i (lunch time here, so...) but i guess it uses the same save system as the GBA monster rancher games.

yeah i hate how there's no autosave you have to go to quit everytime to save.

also what monsters did you guys start with i got a duck combined with a mew.

it took me a while to get one I was satisfied with XD (and one that would fit on my ranch...) I got a little Mew-Bear guy, named him Fuzzy, he has two little fangs too!
