Sigh, okay I'll admit it I overreacted about the cicle pad add on.
I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll work now, but I'm glad it's optional.
On topic: eh...I couldn't really get into monster hunter tri, I doubt this'll be any different.
But hey, now japanese have a reason to get the 3ds over the vita (inb4 imminent monster hunter 4 vita version)

Hm, looks Exactly like the PSP MH3 version, except better graphics. I hope 3D works on that, I imagine monsters in 3D would look really cool.

Always wanted to try Monster Hunter and this one looks really good on 3ds, seems to control fine with one stick too which is great.

To bad there's about a 75% chance that NoA won't localize it

Real tight. I still have to catch up on all the other versions as well. Seems like these games had alot of hype.
Im still debating on whether to buy a 3ds or not. Still catching up with my ds and scds2 and all that stuff.

Looks like the controls is the same as the PSP. And the edges actually looks smoother

And the screen is way more open now. Without the minimap it looks so clean

Well the screen of the 3DS isnt exactly that big.

@Freestile: If you want to spend less money and still try out MH, then get urself a PSP and hack it. If you want to play it AND intend to play the 4th and use 3DS for other games then you should go for the 3DS. PSVita are guaranteed to get MH4. Knowing Capcom they will do it even if it means its only a Japan only release. There is also a huuuuuuuuuuuge chance they port it in to PS3/Xbox360 with more things in it similiar they did from the Wii to PSP. And right Monster Hunter 3rd from PSP got ported to PS3. Japan only though...

Knowing Capcom, they just port it to some random console BEFORE the localization and then troll us for a year and then release it on the ported console instead of the one it first came from.

Not sure how you think its overrated since the game sells so poorly in USA that they haven't released the last one here.
By the way, the game is very fun.

Monster Hunter Tri is a little different in that it seems a little simpler and somewhat... um... medivaly?
The PSP ones are definitely more fun and have more to do.

The controls were excellent(the camera problems were gone),I liked the theme more,and the online bro-op was awesome,but that's just me

Tri is often considered one of the best looking wii games,and the fact that Tri G improves on it is surprising

Tri is definitely fun as well.

Water combat is fun and I liked the fact you could go out into the lands without having to be on a mission and even meet an occasional "big" monster there.
I just like the graphics and graphic-style of the PSP ones. They are more colorful and more interesting to me. Everything is Tri seems a bit more bland and dull.

Of course again, I like Tri a lot, too.

As for the camera problem, I find the "claw" makes it easier to play.
Whenever I play Tri with my classic controller, I find myself taking my fingers away from the face buttons to turn the camera with the right analog.

Oi, and speaking of camera, it's hard to watch the guys in these videos play because they don't turn the camera, they just center the camera behind them!

Oh and as for bro-op, that's definitely a key feature.
I am used to playing online with adhoc Party on the PS3 so I forgot to think of that as a unique feature in Tri.

I love Monster Hunter!!!
