one thing not everyone knows:

elemental damage =/= raw damage

in other words, 200 raw damage will do more damage than 100raw+100elemental, even if the element is something the enemy you are attacking is very weak to the element in question.

so yeah, either the devil slicer or white mantis would probably be about equally effective against the red khezu.
