An actual mic. Let's be honest, Nintendo did this with that WiiSpeak thing, nobody liked it. I'm talking maybe an ear piece, blutooth or something.

Yeah, there's gotta be some way to connect a headset the same way the mic for Sing Party connects (and forgive my ignorance not knowing how that's actually accomplished.) I have no Wii U yet.

EDIT : If that's just the same old USB mic from the Wii, I'd say that kinda sucks. I was hoping it'd connect to the gamepad with a normal mic jack.

For this type of game, if it does have online, the WiiU will really need a dedicated headset. From the chat window showing, it says basic stuff that is found on like Mario Kart 7, which is dumb. Can't communicate that way at all.

Ya but those get connected to the GamePad. That sucks considering the GamePad lasts about 5 hours, that means your mic would die too. And for games where you use the Pro Controller, well shit, that sucks. I'm talking about a blu tooth set or something that hooks up to the console. Like the wireless stereo PS3 ones.

I don't know many details about how it connects or now long it lasts but my theory is that if you want to use the pro control you could theoretically leave the gamepad charging with this plugged into it?
(I might be wrong, though)
