For some reason, when I try neek installation (first time setup) on Modmii, it didnt work. I tried it multiple times and with modmii skin too. It seems that it happens with multiple files, and at the bottom of some errors it says: "Der Zugriff auf einen Socket war aufgrund der Zugriffsrechte des Sockets unzulässig."
Translated: "Access to a socket was not permitted due to the socket's access rights."
And on some errors, it says:"A connection could not be made to the NUS endpoint. The NUS may be unavailable. Das System konnte die angegebene Datei nicht finden."
Translated last sentence: The system could not find the file specified.
I downloaded it from wiidb.de.
EDIT: I tried it with the modmii installer from the official website, still no succes.
@XFlak
Just pinged him so he might help me.

Ok so I used sneek +DI because it was recommend on wiidb.de but I just tried with sneek, with a version 95, when it asked me to install channels, priilodaer and cios 249 said no and tried with default serial number and none of them fixed my problem.
When I did it with the modmii from wiidb I put it into downloads and when I tried it with modmii from the installer I put it C: but unfortunalely, it didn't fix.

NUSD is working, and on my WIi, I could check for update and go to WIi shop Channel so the NUS aren't down (or on maintenance). I also followed the manual setup guide on wiidb.de and to create an EmuNand, I used modmii and the same errors came, when I use Modmii Skin. Both return a error different from the one with modmii classic.
Here 2 screenshots from modmii classic errors:

Edit: Modmii Skin said, the missing files and one of the missing files were IOS 80 or similar.
So basically my EmuNand has an IOS Brick.
In the manual guide from wiidb, I had to download ios 80 modul, and it worked fine.

What version of windows are you running? Looks like a WiiPy issue, possibly doesn't like something with your windows installation, or a dns/firewall setting unique to your pc

@NinjaCheetah might be able to better diagnose what's going on

Edit: btw if u supply modmii with the files it's looking for, like, manually saving it to modmii's temp folder with the name modmii expects, it will pick it up. But that doesn't really solve your root issue

I tried running wiipy.exe and when it showed a command tab, it closed.
I am using Windows 10

Hey it somehow works now. Thanks, but how do I launch neek? Do I have to do it wit the postloader? If yes which one should I choose cuz after clicking neek, it asks if i should it do normal or with bootmii. I have bootmii as IOS.

EDIT: Ok so in the "COPY TO SD" there was a bootmiisneek folder and i put the contents from COPY TO SD to my sd card, deleted the pre existing bootmii folder and then renamed bootmiisneek to bootmii and launched bootmii with the Homebrew Channel. I waited 40 min in the blackscreen and it didn't work. I already retried the sneek + DI installation on modmii but this time without priiloader and default serial number and waited 15 min, still no succes.

It might not like your sd. You could try a different device, or maybe uneek or uneek+di

Can't remember if I mentioned this here, but there's not much point in neek these days, as the games that were once compatible with it but not usbloaders all work modern cios and usbloader gx

Should I try sneek (without di)?
Btw. with deleting the pre existing bootmii folder I meant delete bootmii folder I got by installing bootmii with hackmii installer.

I want to use neek as a sandbox, because having a second wii is fun and I want to use it as a sandbox.

IT WORKED. It got me to the configuration screen, but not only I tried sneek without di, I also didn't install default channels (photo channel, wii shop cahnnel etc.) and some other channels, here are the logs:
setting.txt built using this serial: LEH133789940
nSwitch Channel Installed
Homebrew Channel Installed
postLoader Channel Installed

Edit: I redone it with the missing stuff (still without di) and it worked.
Thank you
Any things to note?
I just have to replace the sneek folder if I want to recreate an emunand, right?

Also, is updting the emunand dangerous to my real nand? I am afraid that it will update boot2 cuz 4.2 did update it incorrectly and llbricked some wiis.

Emunands are in the nands folder, you can generally swap/edit/copy them without adjusting your neek type and vice versa

I'm not sure about an official update while running neek, should be safe or blocked, but I'm not 100%
ok thanks, do you know why sd card menu and homebrew channel dont recognize my sd card?

kinda late but it doesn't work, I think I should just use usb.
Also, I get error code 51420 when I use the Wii Shop Channel. When I enter EULA channel, it instantly gives me that error and when I retry it tries to connect to the internet and works.
WIi Shop Channel gives me the error on the screen with the Wii and the circle.
Disc Channel shows banner but when I enter it, it stays on blackscreen (mkwii)

One day maybe OverjoY will return and finally release his updated neek2o and nswitch. I spoke to him about it 2 years ago when he popped up last. He helped out with yawmme development and then he went back into hibernation 😂

Anyway, point is neek is not perfect, and hasn't been updated or maintained in ages. It's largely not a necessity given blackb0x's cios/loader developments, but it would of course be neat to see neek2o get improved, even if it's just for fun

Ok, is the reason, that wii shop channel returns a error, that I have maybe misstyped the serial?
