I have a bit of a problem. My homebrew channel is upside-down. I followed the guide to the letter and it happened after I did the Dop thing.

Are they still sending out the emails? I emailed them earlier, just curious.

Also, is EVERYTHING that is needed, from IOS files to the programs, etc, in the update.zip and modify.zip files, or is there still stuff that needs to be obtained?

It's auto-reply, so check your junk folder. And the simple answer is yes, all you need to worry about is those two zips.

Followed the guide, at the After modding part I installed NeoGamma, but it says I should have te 249 cios. What is causing this? I'm pretty certain I installed it.

Go here and download this
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/SignCheck

You'll have a zip archive, extract that, and take the SignCheck folder that has the boot.dol, meta and png files in it, put that in your apps folder on your SD card, and run it through Homebrew. Paste the results. That should tell us if you have it installed or not.

Also, in the settings of NeoGamma, what are they set at?

I may be wrong, but this seems like cios 249-v17 and cios250-v17 aren't intalled. Right? So i should go back and install them?
Uninstalled neogamma, gonna reinstall it.

-snip-
You didn't install IOS249 and 250
Either get their installer and use IOS36 to install them
or install the cIOS249-v17.wad and cIOS250-v17.wad ones included with this guide (using wad manager)

Installed them. NeoGamma now giving me DVD read error. Going to try to reburn my back-up.

EDIT: Getting Dvd Read Error 1136 on NeoGama with both discs.

I need update.zip for the US region.

It would be nice to have direct downloads instead of having to email people.

which one of these Do i download?

Not be be a complete as*hole...
But for your own sake I suggest not flashing your Wii since you dont know regions from the top of your head.

NTSC-J = Japan
NTSC = US
PAL = EU

My Wii is close to three years old.

EDIT: Trying softchip, when I try to launch NMH2 through Softcip I get the same message of when I try to use the disc channel to launch it(I have a very old Wiinja installed): Error 001 Unauthorized modification detected.
Neogamma still gives me Disc read error 1136.
Generic wii patcher not detecting "Error 001" protection on the ISO.
Tested my old Twilight Princess back up, runs through disc channel, SoftChip and NeoGamma.
