if you want to use disk(dvd) loading install the first set of wads

if you want to use USB loader(hard drive flash drive) install the second set of wads

thanks for your help
i already installed Installing cIOS (i used cIOS38_rev16-Installer and 8367-Hermes_cIOS_222_rev4_installer) but i found Patching the System Menu IOS beside Installing cIOS at this step and i already done this step before do i have to reapet it again or start install wad tools
thanks

just Install IOS70-64-v6687[TB+ES_diV+NAND].wad to patch the System Menu IOS you don't need to install the others if you used the official installers

Hi

I follow the step until..

Code:
I recommend the following for disc loading:
cIOS202[38+60]-v4.wad
cIOS222[38+37]-v4.wad
cIOS223[38]-v4.wad
cIOS249-v14.wad
cIOS250-v14.wad
IOS70-64-v6687[TB+ES_diV+NAND].wad

.. and install those wad files but then i realize that my Wii is using D3-2 drive so i have to load backup games from USB instead.

So, can i use WAD Manger 1.5 to install cIOS249-v16.wad and cIOS250-v16.wad? Do i need to uninstall those v14 first?

what exactly do you have on your SD card, i know the modify.zip but what files?

If this was in replay to my problem
I press A on install a patched IOS36

when it tries to load from the SD card i get the message

Could not open file: sd:/ISO36-64-v3551.wad
Could not open file: sd:/ISO36-64-v3551.wad.out.wad
error reading ISO into memory
ISO36 installation failed

There is nothing on the card beside what I extracted from the modify.zip
I've even re-downloaded it and tried a different SD card with no success.
It still faults out on the errror
"Could not open file: sd:/ISO36-64-v3551.wad
Could not open file: sd:/ISO36-64-v3551.wad.out.wad"
Even though the file is there.

This is whats on the root of the SD card

apps
private
wad
1,512,992 boot.elf
13,437 hacks.ini
1,612,608 IOS15-64-v257.wad
1,913,008 IOS15-64-v523.wad
1,771,440 IOS36-64-v3351.wad

I can confirm that the wad install doesn't work on dop-ios rev 10.1 just tried it and wouldn't install patched IOS36 and wouldn't restore IOS15 also

I'm stuck at the same error others are reporting:

"Could not open file: sd:/ISO36-64-v3551.wad
Could not open file: sd:/ISO36-64-v3551.wad.out.wad"

I see someone suggested doing a network install, and a user said that worked. What is this NUS option and how do I get to it?

And if someone who understands this better could possibly rewrite the Trucha portion of the guide in a post that would help until xzxero fixes it.
