I have a question: Will someone look for differents between SM64DS kcl files (coulission) and MKDS?
When I make a kcl with SM64DS Editor, the kcl works in SM64DS but not in MKDS.
So there have to be some differents.
By the way, the kcl files created with the SM64DS Editor are not compressed. The other kcl files in SM64DS are and when I decompress the kcl file of test_map_b (tox box map) it works in MKDS. (I know the header is 4 bytes shorter).

New version:

Now with staff ghost creator (from memory dump).
A little bit better nsbmd texturing (yoshi circuit is better).
You can click right on a nsbmd an click view textures to view textures (editing don't work I think)
Lz77 compressed nsbmd automatic decompression. (nsmb)
More nkm edit features.
More mr view functions.

Very nice, I do not think we actually have a graphical SWAR player unless I missed it in console tool (crystaltile2's is broken at best).

It have also an export to wav function (that floppy icon). And in the main window under Tools->SDAT are some conversion tools.

Edit: You can also open a SDAT file directly out of a nds rom.

@ YoshiInAVoid obviously I can not speak for Gericom but the file types are largely the same (although lots of compression) and most download play files are compatible with standard DS file system parsing methods.
Not to mention if you have made it to the point in life where playing hacked multiplayer mario kart DS is something you want to do and can not sort a flash cart capable (there was a patched version around and I recall making a standalone version) of playing mario kart you are doing something wrong.

if two people have the same custom track is it possible to play over wifi? i'm assuming that wifi loads based on track name and is not actually attempting to send any other data back and forth.

-another world

I do not know if Nintendo later made any efforts to block it but once the track swapping thing took off there was a time where your race on rainbow road would be won by someone in fact racing on baby park.

Sound reasoning but all download play content should be RSA signed. You can edit it all you want but it'll break on the client's DS unless s/he has flashed it. Not that flashing is a big deal but I really don't think many people nowadays are even aware of it.

EDIT: On second thought it kind of is a big deal with there being no FlashMe on the DSi or 3DS.

this thing i tried, its way to complicated, maybe there is a way hell make it easier instead of me guessing fricken numbers and codes.
