I saw a few programs that allowed you to control your PC using the wii u gamepad. Would it be possible to also mirror the pc's screen to the controller? That would be awesome.

There was a way to do it on Linux, though afaik nobody's worked on it for a while and it's very user-unfriendly

Also, regardless of what software you use, the gamepad has a 5GHz antenna, so if your computer ('s wifi card) is too old you won't even be able to connect to it.

What's it called?

Also, it would be awesome because the Wii U controller is the only gaming controller I enjoy using, and it'd be much better if I could be mobile with it.

I was just thinking to myself how useless an emulator would be without the gamepad. A LOT of games really require having the gamepad. That's probably one of the biggest slowdowns in the emulator. Perhaps it is trying to display to the gamepad, but there is not one, and its creating errors

Don't most Wii U emulators already support gamepad emulation, though?

Has anything bye kin regard to this subject popped up since this was first discussed? This would be really awesome to have if possible.
