I made a really glitchy pool, a really bad diving board(had to make it like that since there are not any ladders). I also made a pretty big house and put my username on the roof, also made it have purple carpetand windows.

Redstone is out of the question, just won't happen (well, I seriously doubt it at least); probably same goes for minecarts unfortunately.
TNT is more than feasible though.

Once it's done (if it ever does get done), it'll all be in one .nds. However, survival and mobs ARE NOT coming in the next release. Again, the stuff with creepers I've shown you so far was all testing code, there are no mobs yet and there won't be any for quite a while.

There won't be a new bottom screen unless someone makes one that works with current files.
And multiplayer is even further away than survival.
