Minecraft Demo Mode Hacking Question

I currently am playing the Minecraft Demo as $26.00 is out of my price range I have already hacked the level.dat file to give me 6 billion years to play the demo but was wondering if it is possible to change the seed I would think that the seed value would be in a file somewhere but I am unsure and i was wondering if anyone knew anything on this topic thanks

Using a cracked version of Minecraft isn't going to get the FBI at your door. It won't even get you a cease and desist letter.

Is it possible to use custom versions with the official launcher when using a demo account? You could remove the --demo flag from the launch arguments. At that point you could do anything short of playing on online-mode servers.
