Three things I expected when entering this thread:
    1. What the thread actually pertains to currently
    2. Someone modded their Miiverse screen with Nazi themes
    3. There was a flood of Hitler Miis on the Miiverse.
    I would've wanted #2.

So Miiverse is essentially a police (virtual) state. My Grandfather didn't fight the war for this shit.

I'm guessing the word "idiot" was the main reason it got modded.
    Such a naughty word.

Well the Wii U is for children so that would make sense.

It was actually a really stellar troll comment. It passes off as a pro for the Wii U but in actuality it's just saying the Wii U is for children.

As a troll myself I must confess, I was impressed by its simplistic yet graceful execution.

I'm hoping it was actually removed for having spoilery content (there's an option to hide spoilers) and not because of the word "idiot". Because if it's the latter, that's pretty stupid.

According to the article it was removed for "violence" or something, so the kicking in the head plus somewhat insulting language might have been the reason. Still ridiculous though.

Well, I would imagine that Jim Sterling has his own personal moderator attached to his account.

I think the word "Gobshite" would also be appropriate, since it's such a British word, and it also applies to Sterling on a personal level.

That's wacky censorship, I was expecting this kind of moderation. It was mentioned in some presentation, or maybe a press release

Why would they censor language that's in a WiiU game?

I mean, if they're worried about the language, why put it there then?

In which case the Wii U userbase are a pile of whiny pussies.

Pussies who need to get fucked. Hard. Very hard.
