I dont know... its very strange that you're the only one banned with latest mig firmware and using public games dumps... maybe you tried to go online and play online or other mistake... but if there is a massive ban by nintendo... i think the switch 2 ban status poll thread should have much more movement... and i dont see any movement till september 26.
Why the fuck would you mention a private invite only site on a public forum? Are you trying to ruin things for everyone

I use public dumps on S1. Why is it different?
Your s1 logs aren’t not connected to your s2 that’s why

You keep boasting “as others have been saying” but you keep pick and choosing what information from the community is relevant

Your s2 isn’t going to get banned if a public dump is never launched on it

Wtf?? Your drugs are getting you mad bro... i was only talking about a public thread in this forum related with a pool to know the uodated ban status of users....

No downloaded dumps is fine

My switch and account using private dumps is also safe
Still not banned here... switch 2, public dumps, updating them from home menu, offline use only (no online game)... so, your theory of "massive ban wave" not real...

Eshop access with nl problem... online playing (legit games) not problem

Blah blah, my S1 is not banned either. Hence my curiosity about the misinformation going around...

If you can't answer the question then why say anything at all?

Blah blah?

I did answer your question lmao and if I didn’t it’s not hard to to be like “hey you misunderstood me”

I’m sorry that you didn’t like the news that the switch 1 and switch 2 logs are not connected..two different system logs

If I didn’t answer it enough..or misunderstood you could have also reworded it and kindly asked again. It’s very easy to misunderstand things when only talking over threads .. but you chose yet another childish comment response this is like the 3rd one if i misunderstood it wasn’t on purpose or malicious

Everyone is trying to learn here and you jsut keep claiming different things as misinformation .. like HOS hasn’t been explored for years, and a lot of this has been tested for years

Yes things change, but comments like yours does not move the conversation forward to help learn..

I’ve sacrificed 6 switches over the years researching this and others more…I am happy you aren’t banned yet and proud of you. But it’s very irresponsible to be claiming it’s safe when history shows a ban wave will likely happen

Now is it possible it never will again? Absolutely but there is more evidence pointing to the fact that it will happen again, verse not. Especially since the switch is not EOL

Why don't you go back and reread the facts I have spoken about. Your ad hominem attacks are 'childish'. It's not helpful for the community to spread FUD.

I'm not lying. End of story. I can prove it. Walls of text mean nothing without evidence, ninty would agree with me. LOL

I will force the ban to my Switch 2

Now that I have your attention, I'm tired of not being able to play some old S1 games.

Here's my scenario:
- Got a modded S1 oled.
- Got TWO S2 (one is still sealed) and one updated and running own-dumped games in a MIG Switch.
- No ban so far. Console updates as usual.

At this point, I want to play some titles that I don't own. I'm planning to download them from somewhere over internet, and I'm pretty sure those XCI dumps will be burnt.
So I assume my S2 will get banned.
(Side note: Since I saw people getting their N account banned, I'll wipe everything from the console before starting)

So my plan is:

1. Wipe everything on the console.
2. Start the console.
3. Create a random N account.
4. Plug in the MIG with burnt XCI dump.
5. Play

I don't use online, nor download anything from the eshop.

After the ban I won't be able to update the console anymore (who cares, I don't need FW updates for S1 games).

Do you see any other downsides to this plan?

Anything I should do before the sacrifice?

PS: I don't care about S2 games. There's nothing (at least for now) that catches my eye. I already have Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5. Even in that case, I still have a virgin S2 in the shelf.

You'll be able to update the console firmware, you just won't be able to download anything from the eShop (games, apps, updates and DLC). If you plan on moving a Animal Crossing New Horizons save (i.e. island), definitely grab Island Transfer Tool. There's also a Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit which you can use to control your live karts if you ever get them. Other than that, YouTube app for Switch 2 is still in development and I don't think that there are any other apps worth getting. Not sure if Pokemon Home (?) app works or not without the Internet, never used it nor played any Pokemon games.

3. Create a random N account.
Definitely make a random activated account with valid NNID so that you can play some of the games that require NNID in order to run such as Ori and the Will of the Wisps, I think. On a modded Switch, you have a linkalho to use instead. Sadly, legit account is the only way for Switch 2.

Activate the microSD express card? Not sure if you'll be able to do so on a banned console. Any microSD card will do for the activation.

Other than that, good luck I guess. Let us know how it went after a while.

Down like a clown Charlie Brown. I expect nothing to happen, it will all be ok as long as it's not a online multiplayer game.

You don’t have to wipe the console first you can skip that whole step

It doesn’t erase logs or change anything

I have my personal N account on the console right now. Don't want to risk it.

Basically i will "fake" the selling of it.

However, the
It doesn’t erase logs or change anything
kept me thinking... isn't a way to "hardware reset" the console? like erasing everything?
I know about the fuses in the past. Is that what you mean?

I guess something like that will require to even re-install the firmware... but for that you need access to boot loader... and if you have access to that, well, cute things happen.

Everything except logs. To remove logs on Switch 2, only replacing the eMMC will help.
For example, to clear logs from traces of piracy on sysnand a hacked Switch 1, special software is used (Haku33 or TegraExplorer).

I was very curious to see that, but Ori 1 and 2 do load without an account logged in on S2.
It asks for it, but when you press cancel, the game loads normally.

Everything except logs. To delete logs, you need to change eMMC.
So why do these logs only seem to affect some uses of public dumps? It doesn't make sense... Something is off with what is being claimed...

It's obvious but users here keep changing goal posts, it's astonishing the crap that goes around.

Ilogical and non sensical.

Are you trying to prove here that bans are a myth?
Run incomplete dumps (with two bin files) offline on your Switch 1 and Switch 2 via Mig, then do a factory reset, check the eShop in a month, and see what happens.
